This is the breakdown for SIM Open 2011 on Saturday.

0830 - Gather at CSC Bukit Batok Bowling Centre
0915 sharp - Closing of Registration Counter
0925 - Practice Throw
0930- Roll-off for 1st 2nd 3rd Game
~1200 - End of first 3 games
1200-1225- Lunch Break ( Refreshments not provided )
1225- Practice Throw
1230- Roll-off for 4th 5th 6th game
~1500- End of 6 games
1515-1615 - Masters Stepladder

Lunch will be McChicken and drinks you'll have to settle it yourself.

Do take note that CASH of $50 will be collected from you guys on that day by Melissa.
Team Captain consolidate the money and pass it to Melissa on that day so that she can register all of you guys under SIM.

Shirts with SIM Bowling Team Logo shall suffice. In the event that theres no shirt do wear a black polo tee and pants. No Jeans allowed. If theres any problem regarding the event sound out to Michelle/Eric they will be there to help you guys out.

Hope that you guys will enjoy this event and also gain some experience in competition with other Unis.

Hi guys,

SIM Open 2011 will be held on the 26th Feb 2011 (SAT) from 0900-1400 at CSC Bukit Batok.

Format would be 6-games series Team event and Masters Stepladder ( Top man and woman from each Uni ).

Total there would be 4-5 teams per Uni and 4 bowlers per team with at least one women's team.

Entry fee is $50 per pax $200 per team. Subsidy would be confirmed at a later date.

SIM bowlers who are in the club now will have priority in this event. Do reply to this post with your Team Members' name (all 4 ppl). If you are interested in the event but have not get to form up a team do reply on this post too so that we can help you form up a team with the rest of the club bowlers.

Alumni Bowlers can also join in this event but only if there are not enough Current Active bowlers to form up the 4 teams (16 bowlers).

Do give your support for this event. Hope to see lots of replies in this thread.

Commencing In 24 June 2010 (Every Thursday)

The weekly prize fund/game fees shall be $50.00 per team.
The weekly prize fund, trophy fund of $400.00 and a refundable deposit of
$150.00 per team must be submitted before the 5th week of the League to
Singapore Bowling Federation.

LEAGUE DIVISION FORMATION AND POSITION
STANDING POINTS SYSTEM
1.1 The League match will run on a 20 points system:
Bowler to bowler individual games – 1 point x 3 games x 4
bowlers
Bowler to bowler total series score – 1 point x 4 bowlers
Team to team total game series – 1 point x 3 games
Team total series score – 1 point
1.2 There will not be any round-robin points system.

Hi to all SIM Bowlers (both past and present members),

I believe all of you have crossed path with David Wong through bowling in SIM. As some of you might remember some time in the third quarter of 2008, Tze Keong has called to those in the club to nominate David for the POSB Champions Award which David has won. Currently, the nomination for the award has been open to the public. Regarding the Bowling Camp
I had an initial plan of scheduling the camp this month, the ideal dates are 20, 21 & 22 of November.
(Friday evening check-in, Sunday afternoon check-out).
However, the Ulu Pandan Campus rooms are fully booked by the UOL students as they will be hosting a camp there as well.
Any dates later than this is not possible because UITM Competition is coming up and I don't want anyone to get injured.
December is not a good month as well because of UITM, Milo International and Christmas weekends.
Hence I'm looking to schedule the camp on the first week of January 2010.
Will keep you guys update again!

Singapore University Games 2009 is confirmed on the 19th of September 2009 at Bukit Batok CSC (Westwood Bowl).

The reason why we could not get our initial planned date on the 12th of September 2009 because a company has booked a corporate bowling event with Westwood Bowl more than a month ago.

All other major bowling alleys could not provide us with lanes requirements on the 12th of September 2009.

We have already tried our very best to get lanes and 19th September is the nearest date available for us.

Nearest MRT station is Bukit Batok station.
The Clubhouse is about 10 minutes walk across the road

If you are taking the bus, drop at Bukit Batok Central, Block 628 then walk across the overhead bridge.
